About Us

Here at Sherman Farm we offer delicious, wonderful, fresh goat milk.
Prices are $8.00 a gallon & $4.50 a half gallon.

"GoatGurt"* fresh goat milk yogurt is full of good probiotic cultures and is priced at $5. for 16 ounces

We also offer goat cheese in a variety of styles and flavors.
We have Cheve and Fromage Blanc, the favorites...
and offer Mozzarella by order only.
The seasoned cheeses include:
Rosemary and Pine Nut
Garlic and Black Olive
Chive and Onion
Zesty Herbed Blend
Sweet Basil Blend
Dill with a hint of garlic
Plain white, great for crumbles on salad
Feta Style, great for anything!
Mozzarella balls in olive oil 8 ounces $8
is slightly more due to the density of the cheese and labor involved in producing it.

Cheve style is a little dryer and easier for crumbles.
Fromage Blanc is more like a soft cream cheese is
slightly tart and is a great cracker cheese as it can be spread.
Or as some customers have told us, eat it with a spoon, save the crackers for later.
Our prices are $6.00 for a 5 ounce container.

We also offer goat milk soap on a regular basis, goat milk fudge and "goat gurt" is now available.

Goat milk soap is available for $3.50. a bar. It is farm made with fresh goat milk in a variety of scents or plain honey with oatmeal.

We participate in the Waterville Farmers Market, located on Waterville Main Street, on Thursdays from 2-6 pm. We offer a variety of fresh soft goat cheeses in an assortment of flavors. We also have our fresh cold goat milk with us there with us as well as fresh eggs, hopefully. The market begins the first week of May and ends the last week in October.
Cheese, Yogurt and Milk are always available from the farm store itself by calling a day ahead.

All or our goat cheese is made fresh here in our newly licensed cheese room. We make it twice a week or by special order. We do not always have all the flavors every week. We try to alternate with the best selling flavors and adjust accordingly. Sometimes we have frozen goat cheese for sale which is great if left to defrost in the fridge for one day.
Goat cheese is best portioned out and served at room temperature.
